Adventure & Bushcraft Workshop Instagram Management

Project Background
I managed the social media presence for a bushcraft and adventure workshop organization, dedicated to teaching outdoor survival skills, wilderness exploration, and adventure experiences. The brand focuses on connecting people with nature through hands-on workshops, from fire-starting techniques to shelter-building and foraging.

Before my involvement, the organization had a minimal social media presence, with inconsistent posting, low engagement, and no clear content strategy. While the passion for adventure was there, the Instagram page lacked cohesion and a strong visual identity to attract a dedicated audience of outdoor enthusiasts.

Goals & KPIs
The main objectives of this project were to:

- Establish a strong and recognizable brand presence on Instagram
- Increase engagement and follower growth among outdoor and adventure enthusiasts
- Drive sign-ups for workshops and events through strategic content and storytelling
- Develop a consistent content strategy that aligns with the brand’s mission

To measure success, I focused on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:

- Growth in follower count and community engagement (likes, shares, comments, saves)
- Increased website traffic from Instagram
- Higher conversion rates for workshop bookings
- Improved content reach through strategic hashtag use and collaborations

Creative Process & Strategy
I started by analyzing the target audience—outdoor enthusiasts, survivalists, and adventure seekers. Understanding their interests and the type of content that resonated with them helped shape the overall strategy. I developed a content calendar focused on:

- Educational Content: Bushcraft tips, survival hacks, gear recommendations
- Behind-the-Scenes: A closer look at workshops, instructor insights, and student experiences
- User-Generated Content: Encouraging past attendees to share their adventures and tag the brand
- Reels & Video Content: Showcasing action-packed moments from workshops to capture attention and drive engagement
